  • Videos that have not been accessed in 13 months are automatically archived.
  • The auto-archive process that determines when a video was last accessed runs twice per month.
  • Archived videos are deleted if they have not been accessed in three years.
  • NOTE: Users are not notified prior to files being archived.

This is a two part brown bag lunch and learn* series in the Faculty Center. The first session will focus on a discussion of reconnecting with what we love about teaching and our students. It will also give participants a chance to voice their own concerns about their recent experiences with students so that these can be addressed during our second session, which will provide easy ideas for how to increase student engagement in your courses. Many of the suggestions can be applied in both on-campus and online courses.

Are you interested in implementing active learning but not sure how to get started? This workshop is for you! You’ll learn about active learning strategies as you experience active learning as a participant.

By the end of this workshop, you should be able to:

  • Define active learning
  • Explain several active learning strategies
  • Plan an active learning experience for your students

Registration for Adapt 2022 is now open!

The Adapt Conference has always been about getting ready for what’s next. In the past, the Adapt conference has helped instructors prepare for online and technology-mediated content delivery. This year, Adapt 2022 will focus on our changing educational landscape and address all delivery formats (face-to-face, hybrid, hyflex, and online). Our classrooms are evolving with different student populations and new approaches to engagement. Join us as we learn how UNCG faculty are adapting to new delivery formats, overcoming pedagogical hurdles and using new technology options to create inclusive, meaningful experiences for our students.

This year’s conference will offer sessions in a variety of formats from UNCG faculty and staff. Most sessions will be held synchronously in Zoom with select events on campus. Adapt sessions will allow attendees to experience new technology options, learn best practices, and participate in interdisciplinary networking events.
