Did you know that Canvas offers an accessibility checker anywhere in your course where you use the Rich Content Editor. The Rich Content Editor Accessibility Checker can assist you in maintaining accessibility requirements within your Canvas content. The Accessibility Checker is located in the Rich Content Editor menu bar.

The Accessibility Checker verifies attributes within the editor and informs you of any common accessibility errors. The Accessibility Checker provides a user-friendly explanation about errors and provides the fields or menus needed to fix the error. The explanation also provides a link to additional resources to educate yourself about the accessibility guideline.

Learn more about this tool and how you can use it to check your course design by reviewing the Canvas Guide, How do I use the Accessibility Checker in the Rich Content Editor?. This will be a great resource for encouraging more accessible course content!
