Global Accessibility Awareness Day logo

In celebration of Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), The NC Higher Ed Digital Accessibility Collaborative is hosting its first accessibility conference: Getting Started with Digital Accessibility June 10, 2021, 9 am-4 pm.

This is a free, virtual conference! The focus is on digital accessibility basics and would be perfect for faculty, staff, or students who need an introduction (or refresher) to online accessibility. The registration link is at the bottom of the conference’s homepage.

ADAPT 2021 is a free, interactive, and collaborative event for UNCG faculty, staff, and graduate students centered around the joy of teaching, learning, and scholarship. This year’s theme is Reimagining What’s Possible

ADAPT 2021 features:

UNCG faculty members who attend multiple sessions during the conference and submit reflections can potentially earn continuing education credit towards the Procedures for Professional Development and Support for Online Instructors. More information will be provided as we get closer to the Conference.

Register Now for the May Applying the Quality Matters Rubric Workshop

You are invited to participate in this online workshop, which will be taught by certified Quality Matters instructors Amy Brown and Audrey Bryk-Lee. It will be offered via Zoom over 2 mornings: 9:00 am–12:30 pm on Thursday 05/20/2021 and 9:00 am–12:30 pm on Friday 05/21/2021. Both mornings must be attended to complete the workshop.

UNCG Online has organized this workshop FREE for faculty and staff.

You will be able to pick up your materials at a designated place on campus prior to the date of the workshop, or you can notify the facilitator if you prefer digital-only materials.

This workshop counts towards the continuing professional development requirement for online instructors. A digital certificate of completion will be provided from Quality Matters.
