As you may already know, we are so excited to announce the release of our brand new Teaching in the School of Education Canvas Organization!

This new Canvas Organization was developed as an introduction to teaching for the School of Education (SOE). There you will find basic information to help you get started both pedagogically and through the use of instructional technology available here in SOE and at UNC Greensboro. Additional resources and points of contact will also be shared with you, in case you are looking to try more advanced options. We hope you enjoy!

As we welcome our SOE faculty, staff, and students back to campus, we wanted to take this moment to remind you of the services and support available to you through the School of Education office of Instructional Technology Support (SOEIT).

Join an upcoming workshop & training session by checking out our listings for scheduled and self-paced training opportunities through the UNCG Workshops & Events Calendar, and register for an upcoming session. If you are looking for something that is not currently being offered, please do not hesitate to reach out to the SOE Academic Technology Specialist (ATC).

On Friday, August 5, 2022, several new features were enabled in Canvas. Instructors can use Student View in Canvas courses to preview how these changes impact students or view a video that explains assignment and discussion enhancements.

Do you want to know all about the features in Panopto’s newest release?

This month, join Panopto for a deep dive into their most recent changes. In addition to looking at new headline features such as custom roles and improvements to caption editing, they’ll also show you some new settings and enhancements that you may not have noticed yet. Anyone is welcome to attend.
