If you are not regularly checking for Zoom updates, please consider doing so in order to have access to the most engaging aspects of this tool.

Update Zoom

To utilize these new features, you may need to update your Zoom client. Zoom updates do not happen automatically by UNCG, occasionally Zoom may do a push, but this something you should consider checking occasionally. Review the Upgrade/update to the latest version article from the Zoom Help Center or view the video below to see how you can update your version.

New Features

Some of the many new features of Zoom include but are not limited to:

• Enhancement to alternative host feature will now allow co-host the same abilities that the host has in breakout sessions.
• Blurred background will now allow you to just blur your background instead of utilizing a virtual background.
• Share mono or stereo sound
• 1:1 private chat

Update your Zoom Desktop client today to take advantage of these features. Please note that some of these features will turn on automatically while some will need to be eneabled in your settings section of Zoom after you have updated.
