University Libraries continue to support faculty interested in providing their students with a low-cost or free alternative to expensive commercial textbooks with the Textbook Affordability Program (TAP) Grants. Building off the success of the OER Mini Grants offered in the past, these new grant options provide funding to faculty and graduate students who are instructors of record who would like to replace a textbook or redesign a course using Open Educational Resources (OER), Open Access articles, or library licensed materials, or build their own OER course materials.

All course instructors are encouraged to apply (including graduate students who are teaching courses). Applications deadline is April 4, 2022. To apply, please fill out the form at go.uncg.edu/tapgrant
