Giving a proctored exam can help ensure the security of the exam process. Did you know that UNCG has their own proctoring website where instructors can find a selection of research insights regarding proctoring and practical steps for setting up proctoring for their class.
In additional to this resources on this site for instructors and students, you will also find information about the University Proctoring Lab (UPL), UNC Greensboro’s new in-person test-taking space, free to UNCG students.
Don’t forget that as an UNCG instructor, you may require one of the proctoring tools and services for tests and exams: Zoom or Respondus LockDown Browser and Monitor. Instructors should communicate to students which service will be used either at the start of the semester or weeks in advance of the test so that they have time to obtain a webcam, find a quiet environment for their test, or make other preparations.
